Additional capitalization of ProCredit bank in Serbia completed

ProCredit bank in Serbia has finished additional capitalization worth 5m EUR in Serbia and increased basic capital to 29.6m EUR.

Increase in capital was carried out by registration and issuing of the sixth issue of stocks, in which existing stockholders of the bank took part: "Procredit Holding", "Commerzbank" and "European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development", proportional to their ownership shares.

President of the Executive Board of ProCredit bank, Dorte Vajdig, said that the money from the additional capitalizaation would be invested in Serbian small economy and, in that way, contribute to development of economy in Serbia.

So far, ProCredit bank has approved more than 260,000 loans worth 1.2 billion EUR, the deposit base of the bank exceeds 336m EUR, and it also issueed more than 130,000 debit cards. The bank has network of 64 offices in 42 cities of Serbia and its 1,600 workers serve more than 260,000 clients.
