Zastava oruzje announces direct negotiations with Bereta in late 2015

Let’s remind that the minister of defense, Bratislav Gasic, last month at Zastava said that by the end of October, legal conditions will be provided for investment of Bereta in Kragujevac-baseed plant for weapons production.

Zastava oruzje has just celebrated 162nd anniversary since its set up and then Brzakovic outlined that in the previous period the plant focused on development of new and modification of the existing products.

Presence at leading world fairs, keeping pace with trends and market research resulted, according to him, in a gamma of new and modified products which should provide better market position and competitiveness of the plant. UN also provided trust to the plant and they have been supplying them for ten years now.

The trade union at Zastava oruzje announced that “they will take actions” which should enable presence of their representatives at today’s meeting of the Supervisory Board of the plant since the agenda comprises topics of great importance for the employees and the plant.
