Sale of Industrijski kombinat Guca announced for the second time

Trustee in bankruptcy of Guca-based Industrijski kombinat (IKG), Aco Milosevic, announced the sale today, for the second time, for the sale of the plant through public auction after the first public one did not happen.

Estimated value of the bankruptcy debtor’s property, equipment, material, halls and six hectares of land total RSD 834 m. Estimated value of property is not a minimally acceptable offer or is compulsory or decisive in any other way for a bidder when setting the offer price.

Public auction will be held November 26 in Guca and it is necessary to pay almost RSD 167 m for participation.

This forge operated with Sabac-based concern Farmakom and bankruptcy was declared March 20 this year.

The owner of the concern, Miroslav Bogicevic, in his reorganization plan which the Trade court in Cacak did not accept, stated that the total debt of IKG as a solidarity debtor comprises a guarantee for the third parties in Farmakom and totals RSD 17,79 billion (EUR 145 m), and that without these guarantees the debt of the Combine to suppliers, employees and the state totals RSD 3,56 billion (EUR 29 m).

At the moment of managing bankruptcy, the plant had 301 employees.
