More than one hundred businessmen is traveling to Moscow – Objective of visit is to increase export from Serbia to Russia
More than one hundred businessmen will travel on Monday to Moscow so that they would, in direct talks with their Russian colleagues, try to increase product export from Serbia to the Russian Federation.
On Tuesday, during the official visit of the Serbian prime minister Aleksandar Vucic, they will participate at the mutual meeting of the Business Council for cooperation with Serbia with the Trade industrial chamber of Russia and the Business Council for cooperation with Russia at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
As president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Marko Cadez explained, it will be the biggest and the most important business delegation of our country in Russian Federation.
Moscow will host 120 our companies and 100 Russian ones which will have the chance to discuss investment terms in Serbia and specific plans in direct conversations, Cadez said.
He outlined companies mainly operate in agriculture and food industry, metal processing, rubber and plastics, tourism and that good results should be expected.
The main objective of the visit of Serbian businessmen to Moscow is support is support to Serbian economy to overcome lower exporrt than import through specific projects.
In eight months this year according to SCC data, total foreign trade exchange between Serbia and Russia totaled USD 1,74 billion and Serbia exported goods totaling USD 469 m to the Russian market.
