PIK Becej under hammer - Capital estimated at EUR 87 m

At the last meeting of the Board of trustees of PIK Becej, it was decided that it will be completely sold as a legal entity. New capital estimation which now totals EUR 87 m was adopted at the same meeting.

The meeting was headed by the assistant minister of agriculture and environmental protection of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Nenad Katanic who estimated adoption of decision as a conformation of good communication of all players in the process – the republic Government, Ministry of agriculture, major trustees at PIK Becej, local self-governance and trade unions.

It is expected that by the end of the year, public auction for the sale of entire Combine will be released.
