Second blast furnace in Zelezara Smederevo fired up - Vucic announces salary raise for all workers

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic stated that the commissioning of the second blast furnace in Zelezara Smederevo steelworks meant a lot for the entire Serbian economy, adding that he was glad the second blast furnace was in operation too.
- I am proud to say that we have managed to awaken, raise from the dead, fire up the second blast furnace, so people can work and get a raise. We will increase salaries of all Zelezara workers again - said Vucic. By the way, the Serbian PM will attend the ceremony of official commissioning of the blast furnace No.1 in Zelezara Smederevo on October 9th.
Commissioning of the second blast furnace will bring about a significant growth of production in Zelezara Smederevo as well as jobs for 200 to 250 new workers, said Bojan Bojkovic, a member of the Supervisory Board of Zelezara Smederevo.
