Bambi opens new "plazma" production department totaling EUR 10 m
Bambi has opened today a new production line for "plazma" cookie in its plant in Pozarevac, totaling EUR 10 m.
The prime minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said at the opening of the new line for “plazma” that he expects that the most quality Serbian confectionery industry which annually produces 25.000 tons of product will increase headcount.
The prime minister also added the most important job of the Government of Serbia is to provide better business environment and free and equal economic match. He said he is happy for the work of the plant with 895 employees and last year’s turnover of EUR 78,5 m. Vucic added he hopes the investment of EUR 10 m will bring headcount increase.
Bojan Radun, the head at Bambi, said that new line production line of “plazma” which has been put into operation today is the biggest and most modern in SEE as well as that this is the biggest individual investment of Bambi in Pozarevac in the last 30 years.
Radun specifically outlines that the objective of Bambi is regional growth and thus that it takes fair market game which” has not been the case always”.
Andrej Jovanovic, head of Moji brendovi which comprises Bambi, Knjaz Milos and Imlek said that he is especially proud of the fact managerial positions in the company are held by local experts while until recently foreign citizens held them.
