Increasing number of Turkish investors in Serbia

Over the previous year, the interest of Turkish companies for investing in the south of Serbia has significantly increased, not only in textile industry but in production of automotive components, furniture, agriculture and tourism, it was outlined at the meeting of Marko Cadez, president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and RifatHisardzikogluop, president of the Union of chambers of commodity reserves of Turkey (TOBB).

At the meeting of two presidents between two chambers, where representatives of Turkish business community in Serbia were present as well, considered directions of further development of bilateral economic cooperation.

It was agreed to set up a platform for forming mixed Serbian-Turkish chambers in Serbia and Turkey and that SCC and TOBB by the end of the year organize meetings for businessmen in construction and agriculture fields. It will be an opportunity for reps of business communities to connect and discuss specific business ventures.
