Frenchmen want healthy food from Leskovac area

(Leskovac) An official delegation of the French town La Roche-sur-Yon will be staying these days in Leskovac to get familiar with the economic potentials of this city.
They will share their impressions with businessmen from the south of France who are very interested in investing in this area, it was stressed at a reception in the Cabinet of Leskovac Mayor Goran Cvetanovic.

As explained, this is a return visit after Mayor Cvetanovic was staying in their region in March 2015 and presented the potentials of his area in a very charming way, at least that's what the French say.

- You should first thank your mayor for our decision to come to Leskovac so soon. He presented your city in a very nice and charming manner. We've come here to see for ourselves if everything we heard nice about Leskovac is true - said Natalya Sagan, an assistant to the mayor of La Roche-sur-Yon in charge of international relations.

It was underlined on this occasion that guests from France were interested the most in agricultural potentials of the Leskovac area and possible investment in the Green Zone.

- Production of healthy food is a priority for the French. I pointed to our Green Zone, which caught the attention of our French partners who want to find a way to put it in service - explained Cvetanovic. The mayor of La Roche-sur-Yon will join the three-member delegation of his town as early as tomorrow, and their plan for the next four days is to visit the Green Zone in Leskovac, several companies in the Vucje area, the hydroelectric power plant in Vucje, as well as plantations and vineyards in the Leskovac area.
