Loss of Agrokor in 2014 totals app. EUR 30 m

The biggest Croatian company, Agrokor, owned by Ivica Todoric, generated in 2014 income of KN 35, 3 billion (EUR 4,6 billion) with a loss in business of KN 225,5 m, i.e. EUR 29,6 m, according to consolidated business data.

Compared to last year, income increase by 16 % which is mainly based on takeover of Mercator and, regional portal , Seebiz

Along with financially demanding takeover of Slovenian trading chain, Mercator, 2014 was also featured by bad weather terms and GDP fall at three main markets in Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and all of that resulted in lower profit margins of majority of Agrokor companies and negative financial result at the concern level.
