President of the company Board, Daliborka Pejovic, said in her interview for Pobjeda that the airline annually brings to Montenegro almost as many people as it has residents.

When asked about the amount of debts and credit commitments of the company and the plan to decrease it, Pejovic replied that the latest analysis, done in early September, bring additional dosage of optimism since the company has been regularly reducing long-term commitments which from EUR 82 m went to EUR 71,5 m.

- As for now, we are only worried about the report from Belgrade which opened dilemma when it comes to unsolved issues with formerly set up companies in Serbia and unsolved financial commitments but with respect to that, we will make an analysis and make adequate steps– she specified and outlined that now it is important that “financial balance is realistic, exact and objective”.

Pejovic believes that no bankruptcy is possible at Montenegro Airlines but still she added that the Government of Montenegro, as a company founder, has the final saying.
