Nikola Tesla Airport shareholders to get interim dividend of RSD 38.35 per share - Record number of passengers in August
The Supervisory Board of Nikola Tesla Airport has made a decision to approve of the payment of interim dividend from the semiannual profit in the gross amount of RSD 1.3 billion, that is, RSD 38.35 per share, Wisebroker has reported.
September 10 is set as the cut-off date for the payment of interim dividend which will be paid until 30 June 2016. The airport turned a profit of RSD 2.2 billion in the first six months of this year, multiple times bigger than in the same period last year owing to extra revenues in the first quarter.
From last year's profit, the airport approved the payment of RSD 2.06 billion in dividend or RSD 59.95 per share.
Number of passengers at last year's record high, cargo traffic up 53%
The number of passengers and air operations at Nikola Tesla Airport in August was at last year's record high which was achieved August 1st, when the airport in Belgrade served 20,973 passengers.
Since the beginning of this year, Nikola Tesla Airport has handled 3,276,772 passengers, up 6% from the same period last year.
Cargo traffic was also on a rise in August, which affected the revenue as well, with an increase of 53% against the same period in 2014.
