One of the arguments Italians use to justify their opposition to the arrival of migrants to their country, which is struggling an increasing unemployment rate, is that foreigners "steal jobs from Italians."
However, a latest research conducted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce shows that the most common surnames of new entrepreneurs in the seven largest Italian regions are not Italian.
According to this research, the web portal Quartz reports, most of the entrepreneurs starting new companies in this country have surnames like Hu, Chen, Hossain, Zhang or Wang. Rossi, Italy's most common surname, ranks fourth in this list.
In the "commercial capital" of Milan, the results are even more explicit - the first Italian surname to appear in the rankings is Colombo, and it is ranked 20th among new company founders.
