Cimos from Koper, which the money of taxpayers saved from a debt of about EUR 200 million, has been put up for sale, the web portal Indikator.ba cites the Ljubljana daily Dnevnik as reporting.

The consulting company Ernst&Young, which manages the sale process, yesterday invited bids for the acquisition of Cimos. The deadline to submit these bids and other terms of sale have not been disclosed yet, and all interested prospective buyers can get all relevant information from Ernst&Young.

There has been a growing interest in the acquisition of Cimos for a long time now. This was made clear in a recent interview by Janne Harjunpaa from Bank Assets Management Company - BAMC (Druzba za upravljanje terjatev bank - DUTB).

Officially, Cimos is interesting to strategic investors and financial funds. Among them is the U.S. group Dura Automotive Systems, in which one of the executive positions was held by Gerd Rosendahl, who assumed the position of chairman of the Cimos Managing Board in early July 2015.
