Serbian Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Minister Rasim Ljajic said today that the Task Force of the Serbian government would be analyzing all submitted bids for the privatization of Telekom Srbija over the next 14 days and then suggest qualified bidders.

Namely, after August 17th, the Government's Task Force will forward qualified bids to the Tender Commission consisting of ministers. If accepted, these bids will open the door to Telekom Srbija for those who submitted them to do the due diligence on this telecom firm.

After that, as he explained, prospective buyers still interested in taking over Telekom Srbija are to submit their concrete bid.

- If the bid is satisfactory, we will begin the Telekom Srbija privatization process, and if not, this process will be halted, that is, privatization will be abolished - Ljajic stressed.

He reminded that today was the final deadline to submit non-binding bids for the privatization of Telekom Srbija.
