Municipality of Zrenjanin rents holiday hotel in Dobrota on 50 years

Once popular summer resort of citizens of Zrenjanin in Dobrota, in Municipality of Kotor, could soon get the new owner, that is, the renter. The only thing that is needed is the consent from the Temporary Organ of Municipality.

Namely, Municipal Council of Zrenjanin has made the decision that the Children's holiday hostel in Dobrota should be rented on period of 50 years, and the starting value on the auction will be 2.5m EUR. Previous idea of the city authorities was that the City of Zrenjanin takes credit for construction of tourist complex.

According to the words of Nikola Halas, the chief of the city planning department of Municipality of Zrenjanin, the holiday hostel in Dobrota has not been used for 20 years and some refugees live in it.

- Longer rental period is the solution to the problem with illegal tenants who does not want to move out. The looks of once the most beautiful captains' villa in the Bay of Kotor is so ugly now that the investments are necessary. Facilities are in bad condition and, due to real danger that Municipality of Kotor can treat the facility as building land, the investor must be found - Halas explained adopted decision about rental of Children's holiday hostel in Dobrota.
