Cacak "beauty" is going to Russia

Fruit growers of the Rekovac municipality are finishing the harvest of plum “ Cacanska rana” and starting harvest of “ Cacanska lepotica” whose fruits mainly ends at the Russian federation market, the head of the Fund for agricultural development of the Rekovac municipality, Aleksandar Ristic.
- Quality is good and yield solid apart from the villages where there has been shower – Ristic said for Tanjug.

The harvest started six or seven days ago and the initial "price was RSD 100 per kilogram so that now few days before the harvest ends, purchase declined to RSD 60 per kilogram, Ristic outlined.

All quantities which cold storages bought in Lepojevic and at Varvarin are for the market of Russia, he added and said that harvest and purchase of “Cacak beauty” is starting these days ad that early kinds of plums in Levac, which is fruit and grape growing-oriented area in Serbia, take 100 ha out of 1.450 planted with plums.
