Guca will get a hotel for trumpet players in 2016

Next year, Guca will get a hotel for accommodation of trumpet orchestras which participate at Dragacevski sabor and it will have 160 beds, the Lucani municipality announced.

The existing "AS" motel will be superstructured and rearranged into a two-floor hotel with 28 modern rooms and a conference hall where all competitors of a unique event and folklore work will be able to accommodate in Guca.

Deputy of the president of the municipality, Milivoje Dolovic, said for Beta agency that as of the foundation of the Event, 55 years ago, the biggest problem was accommodation of trumpet players who participated at competitions.

- It will have top accommodation conditions and the hotel will be used, after the Event, for the needs of tourist offer of Dragacevo and this part of Serbia, school trips and organization of business meetings – Dolovic said.

Pre-calculation of works totals RSD 50 m, half of it provided by the local self-governance and the second part by the Ministry of trade, tourism and telecommunications.

The hotel is planned to open for the Trumpet players’ event in 2016.
