New crushers totaling more than USD 1 m for more concentrate from Majdanpek
The first one out of two new "HP6" crusher which will help in Majdanpek- based Copper mine to increase capacity of ore crushing rude so that this part of the process is no longer an obstacle in ore processing increase from 3,5 to six, i.e. 8,5 and 11 million tons annually, was delivered to the Copper mine in Majdanpek. It is expected it will start operating by mid-June when a metal detector should arrive and be put into operation, Radio television Bor reported.
New "HP6" crusher has the capacity of 500 - 800 tons per hour, depending on granulate it produces. Its technical features enable improvement of safety of crushing and thus increase total capacity, Copper Mine Majdanpek says. With an increase of crushing capacity, terms are created that flotation also generates higher production and first of all, it increase hourly performance of mills.
The second crusher of this type is ready to be delivered and both total more than a million dollars and are a part of huge this year’s investments in increase of ore processing capacity in Majdanpek-based Copper mine.
The objective of all the works is to increase capacities of crushing and flotation so that by the end of the year, as much quantities of copper as possible from Majdanpek could be delivered.
