380m EUR needed for financing NIS - additional capitalization of 90m EUR planned for this year
- Total of 380m EUR will be needed for financing Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) this year, which will be provided from NIS' own funds, commercial credits and additional capitalization - said General Manager of NIS, Srđan Bošnjaković.
He said to the journalists, after the round table with the representatives of Government of Serbia, that the additional capitalization in amount of 90m EUR was in the pipeline for year 2007. As far as credit is concerned, NIS negotiated with 17 interested banks and the decision should be made "in next few weeks".
According to his words, number of potential strategic partners have already visited NIS, among which are "Lukoil", "Hellenic Petroleum" and "Gazprom".
He reminded that the strategy for privatization of NIS had given basic directions and pointed out that selection of appropriate strategic partner was crucial issue for better positioning on the market.
