Italians want sheep milk from Pester

Italian company, "Toscana Formaggi", is interested in purchase of raw sheep milk from Pester and it is ready to pay EUR 0,8 per liter, company reps said on Friday, May 8, 2015.

Mario Russo , on behalf of "Toscana Formaggi", said that Italy is in great demand for sheep milk and that they want to purchase 12,5 tons of raw milk per day from producers from Pester.

He added that "Toscana Formaggi" will work on increase of cattle fund on Pestera if they agree on milk purchase.

Milk producers from Sjenica are interested in this business but they outline that bad road infrastructure and lack of sheep could make delivery of desired milk quantities more difficult and endanger business agreement.
