SERTIC: Government determined to implement economic reforms

(Zeljko Sertic) Serbian Economy Minister Zeljko Sertic said Wednesday (22 April 2015) in Berlin that the economic recovery was the priority of the Serbian government which is determined to implement the agreed set of economic reforms.
At a meeting between the economy ministers of the western Balkans and the representatives of the largest German companies, Sertic said that economic reforms were mainly to tackle the problems of privatization, companies undergoing restructuring, system reorganization in government agencies, and the improvement of overall business climate.
He added that it was necessary to strengthen relations within the region in order to be more efficient at attracting investment, adding it was a must for sustainable growth.
The meeting held at the business event East Forum 2015 was attended by the representatives of Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Albania and Croatia.
