Air Serbia, the national airline of the Republic of Serbia, has revealed plans for the seasonal operations of its dedicated charter brand – Aviolet.

Following its successful launch 2014, Aviolet is set to play an increasingly important role in the charter flight market and the tourism industry in Serbia during the upcoming summer season, responding to the needs of Serbian tourists for comfortable, safe and affordable travel to their favourite summer holiday destinations in Europe, the Mediterranean and North Africa.

For the 2015 season, Aviolet has confirmed flights to five countries: Turkey, Greece, Italy, Spain and Egypt, covering a total of 19 destinations, including Antalya, Catania, Cephalonia, Chania, Corfu, Dalaman, Girona, Heraklion, Hurgada, Karpathos, Kos, Milas-Bodrum, Palermo, Palma de Mallorca, Rhodes, Santorini, Sharm el-Sheikh, Skiathos and Zakynthos.

The brand is set to operate the majority of its flights in the peak of the summer season, in the period between June 15 and September 15, with rotations between 7 and 10/11 days, closely mirroring the periods of stay of tourists at their chosen destinations. The total number of flights operated is yet to be determined, as tour operators are still completing reservations according to their passenger bookings. Flight plans are carefully scheduled and coordinated to maximise punctuality and availability of aircraft, and meet the needs of all customers.

Aviolet guests should arrive to the airport at least 2 hours prior to scheduled departure time as check-in closes 45 minutes before departure. Representatives from designated tour operators are present at Belgrade Airport throughout the check-in procedure to assist all guests.

Free checked baggage allowance per passenger is 23kg along with 8kg of hand luggage. Onboard, Aviolet offers complimentary snack bag on all flights, which includes a sandwich, a bottle of water and a fruit bar. In addition, during the flight guests will have an option to purchase items from the on-board bar, covering a broad selection of beverages and snacks. Furthermore, a selection of popular duty-free items will also be available for sale at competitive prices.
