Construction of industrial zone in Cuprija started
Construction of Industrial zone Minel on 16 ha where more than RSD 65 m will be invested has started today.
The state secretary of the Ministry of trade, Dragan Stevanovic, and president of the Cuprija municipality, Ninoslav Eric, laid a cornerstone.
The project comprises construction of road, water supply system, fecal and
atmosphere sewerage system in industrial zone which is between the
Cuprija-Paracin and Corridor 11 regional road.
The industrial zone construction in Cuprija is a part of the program of the Ministry of trade for the support of development of business environment in local self-governance in Serbia in order to attract investments and open vacancies.
More than RSD 166 m was set aside from the budget 2015 for the implementation of the program. The ministry participates in project funding with up to 50% of its value while local self-governance provides the remaining part.
President of the Cuprija municipality, Ninoslav Eric, said that they have already signed a contract with German Truck lite with respect to construction of the plant for production of lightning for automotive industry on four hectares, while the remaining 12 ha of induatrial zone will be offered to other investors.
-This is important for the entire Pomoravlje, since within a circle of 15 km we have 30.000 unemployed – Eric said and added that Truck lite committed to implement the project by 2017 and hires 500 people in Curpija and opens 500 more in the second stage.
