Opening of Vibac in Jagodina in mid summer 2015
Plant for production of belts of the latest technology in industrial package of Italian company Vibac, which has been under construction in Jagodina, will open in late July or early August and will hire 450 people, president of the Jagodina City Assembly, Dragan Markovic – Palma has said today.
-The first machine, the biggest one in Europe, according to the owner, will be named after my nickname, 'Palma' and will arrive to the plant in late May- Markovic said at the press conference.
65 do 70% works have been completes and production hall occupies 64.000 m2, Markovic said.
Construction of Vibac in Industrial zone in Corridor 10, started in mid-December 2013 and the cornerstone was placed then by former prime minister, Ivica Dacic, president of the city assembly, and national parliament member, Dragan Markovic and the head of Vibac Balkani" doo, Patrizio Masini.
-Everything will be funded through direct capital so the company will have no debts and after completion of construction, 450 people will work here – Masini said.
Vibac is planning export totaling EUR 150 m from Jagodina, mainly from east Europe countries, former Soviet Union and Pacific region.
