"Cedevita" took over "Multivita" – construction of new unit for production of multivitamin preparations next year in Vršac
The Manager of company "Multivita", Zlatomir Pecikoza, announced yesterday (May 30, 2007) that "Atlantic" group, part of which is "Cedevita", had taken over "Multivita" from company "Hemofarm".
Pecikoza said that the agreement had been reached on construction of the new unit in "Technology park" in Vršac in 2008, where "Multivita" would be produced, which "guarantees that this brand will be preserved". The factory will be built by "Hemofarm Inžinjering".
According to the statement that “Hemofarm” gave on the occasion of this takeover, the letter of intent that implies export of "Hemofarm’s" OTC preparations to the market of Croatia, with the support of "Atlantic Group", has been signed.
The status of seventeen employees in "Multivita" will not be changed within next three years, and the construction of the new unit within "Technology park" will provide 25 to 30 new jobs. Until the new factory for production of multivitamin preparations is built, production of "Multivita" preparations will be carried out in the unit of "Hemofarm".
The sales contract has been signed in "Hemofarm’s" Belgrade-based Business center by the Head of the Administrative Board of "Atlantic" and the President of the Supervisory Board of "Cedevita", Emil Tedeski, and the President of the Administrative Board of "Hemofarm" concern Miodrag Babić.
