Three ships of regular COSCO service will connect Rijeka with Greek and Turkish ports

On Tuesday, February 24, 2015, "Contship Eco" ship was tied at the container terminal Brajdica for the first time. It will, with current two ships of regular COSCO service connect Rijeka regularly with the main Greek and Turkish ports, Jadranska vrata company communicated.

Jadranskih vrata, a terminal concessioner at Brajdica, communicate that the "Contship Eco" ship, along with ships "Orkun Kalkavan" and "Reecon Emir" is now one out of three ships which are part of regular Chinese COSCO service.

Once a week, one out of three ships, with capacity of 600 to 800 containers will sail in Rijeka port.

It was also reminded in the announcement COSCO is a Chinese national ship company has been connecting Piraeus and Rijeka ports with its regular weekly feeder service since the set-up of feeder service in 2009. Feeder service is a transport of containers by ships (feeder) from loading terminal to the destination port.
