Dragan Tomic no longer president of Simpo - General Meeting of Vranje-based furniture factory makes decision to abolish position of company president

Despite opposition from capital representatives of minor shareholders and representatives of the City of Vranje, the General Meeting of Simpo has made a decision by majority vote to "abolish the position of company president" that has been held by Dragomir Dragan Tomic (77).
As it was confirmed to the daily Danas, the position of the president of Simpo is abolished through an amendment to the Company Statute, which was opposed by Budimir Mihajlovic, the representative of minor shareholders, and Vene Zdravkovic, the representative of Vranje. In addition to changes in the Company Statute, the General Meeting also considered the conversion of Simpo's debt to the Republic Health Insurance Fund.
