Businessmen are looking for FMCG customs in Vranje and Leskovac

President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce, Goran Jovic, sent a request to the Customs Directorate to return authority to customs branch offices in Leskovac and Vranje which refer to FMCG customs operation.

His request was supported by the heads of the Jablanica and Pcinj region, Bozidar Stojiljkovic and Slavisa Bulatovic.

With the Regulation of the Customs directorate dated 2010, Customs Directorates in Leskovac and Vranje were disabled to custom FMCG and textile so importers and businessmen from the south of Serbia can do it only in Nis.

-We are asking for these responsibilities to return to these towns since analysis showed that this regulation generates additional costs to our businessmen. In some cases, these costs go even up to EUR 1000 per truck - Goran Jovic, president of Leskovac Chamber of Commerce.

-Shipping services in cities where practically the scope of work has been decreased were hit – Jovic said.
