Bankrupcty procdure at Beohemija-Inhem halted
Trade court in Zrenjanin made a decision on adoption of prepack plan and bankruptcy procedure halt in Zrenjanin-based Beohemija – Inhem, Dnevnik finds out. The judge Milan Pajtasev confirmed yesterday that the hearing was held for consideration and voting over prepack plan which the management of the plant for production of powder and liquid detergents submitted.
When asked who will control whether the proposed reorganization method of Beohemije – Inhem is in line with the defined plan, the judge Pajtasev replied that the plan itself implies set up of the body where trustees, mainly bank reps will sit and deal with it.
Since the company which Belgrade’s businessmen, Zeljko Zunic, owns, has debts towards the banks, state, suppliers and staff, nearly RSD 28,7 billion and that debt is not proportional at all to the value of the property of 1,3 billion, it is clear that it is more convenient for trustees if the plant continues working. If it would go bankrupt, trustees would be settled through property sale which means that many of them would not get it.
