"British Airways" broadens seats in business class by 25 cm
- "British Airways" has invested 100m GBP in improvement of its most profitable product - "business class". In that way, it sets new standards for business passengers – said the Manager of Serbia-based Office of British company, Natalie Brodnik.
Representing new business class on annual celebration of this company in Belgrade, Brodnik pointed out that the passenger seats would be broadened by another 25 cm and estimated that the new flat bed-seat for business class on long flights - "Club World", would again place "British Airways" on the leading position in air transportation industry.
She announced that the new beds had been installed in all airplanes of type "Boeing 747" that flew on London- New York route, so that the business class passengers on all 96 flights a week, between these two cities, would fly with the new business class.
So far, total of 1,172 new beds have been installed in the airplanes all around the world, whereas the installation of these beds in all airplanes will take 18 months.
