SBB gets approval to take over EUnet

The Commission for competition protection of Serbia approved to Srpske kablovske mreze (SBB) to acquire 99,27% stake at the company for development and production of information systems, EUnet

The Commission estimated that takeover of EUnet does not endanger competition or create and strengthens dominant market position of its participants.

SBB is telecommunications operator which mainly operates as an operator of digital and analogue cable television and broadband internet in Serbia.

EUnet is the first provider of services of internet connecting in Serbia and Montenegro which today mainly provides services of internet hosting - traditional hosting packages (domains, web, mail, online trade), advanced cloud base service and solutions, data center services (collocation, special service rent), as well as VoIP services.
