Euro at the lowest level in the past nine years
Yesterday, EUR in international foreign currency markets, fell to the lowest level ever in the last nine years, compared to dollar since investors expect the inflation rate in Euro zone will jump into negative area and which, with political turmoil in Greece, could force the European Central Bank (ECB) to quantitatively mild monetary policy.
Euro value this morning at Asian markets fell to only USD 1,1860, the lowest value since 2006. Later, it was traded at the European markets with USD 1,1938, which means it decreased in value by 0,5% compared to market closing on Friday.
Dollar, however, decreased by 0, 14% compared to yen, to 120,29 yen.
