Wings of Vrsac for National Geographic - Wing produced Magnus Fusion plane

The Wing company in its Vrsac-based production department produced the Magnus Fusion airplane for Hungarian, Keckemet-based Magnus Aircraft which professionals from the National Geographic use for their needs, eVrsac portal reports.

-We produce all kinds of parts made of composite materials for this plane as well as for many others ultra-light airlines in line with orders of European companies. - Predrag Jovanovic, production controller at Wing whom we found at the production department, says.

-Tomislav Dragovic set up Wing in 1992 and his son, Vuk, has been running it successfully now. Primary core business was only design and development, specialized in the field of fluid analysis and projecting high performance rotor plates.

-Primarily, production was focused on industrial products such as rotor plates of big and small diameter for cooling towers. Wing is the only producer of these plates at the local market. Now, production scope expanded to complete primary and secondary structures for general aviation, VLA and market of ultra-light airlines as well as wind energy industry – Jovanovic adds.

Wing opened its own modern production department, completely air-conditioned with the air control system, big chambers for polymerization which are computer-controlled, electronic dosing facilities as well as modern system for electronic production monitoring opened in Vrsac in 2006 eVrsac reports.
