City of Belgrade adopts budget 2015 - Decisions on local fees, land maintenance fees and office space rent changed
Budget of the City of Belgrade for 2015 will total RSD 80,26 billion, it was decided at today’s meeting of the Assembly of the City of Belgrade. Compared to previous year, budget deficit decreased and totals some RSD 4,1 billion, Beoinfo reports.
Secretary for finance, Slobodan Milosavljevic, said that difficult year is
coming but that the objective is that finances in the City stabilize and to
step into investment cycle.
Total funds of the City are RSD 74,7 billion while city municipalities got some
RSD 9,8 billion, Beoinfo reports.
Parliament members agreed with the budget rebalance for 2014 as well with the
Change of the Decision on local utility taxes, then measures for defining fee
for construction land maintenance and office space rents.
Decision on environmental protection and development fee was also made. Monthly
fee amount was defined in line with the real estate area and totals RSD 0,87 per
square meter for residential facilities and
RSD 2,64 per square meter for business facilities.
Decision on residence tax was also changed. The residence tax for first category tourist place now totals RSD 146 per day. Thanks to this, it is estimated that in 2015, at the level of the City, higher profit of some RSD 8,7 m will be generated. The decision becomes effective as of January 1, Beoinfo reports.
