Gazprom becomes the only owner at South Stream transport
Russian gas giant, Gazprom, has announced today it signed agreements with ENI, Wintershall and EDF on acquisition of 50% stake at South stream transport B.V.
Thus, Gazprom is becoming 100 % owner of the company, Tas reports.
South stream transport B.V. is an international joint venture company, set up in order to implement project and construction works and manage subsea gas pipeline which should be placed in the Black Sea within the South Stream.
Gazprom’s stake at that company has been 50% in that company, Italian ENI had 20%, and French EDF and German Wintershall Holding GmbH had 15%, respectively.
