GM at NIS, Kyril Kravchenko, says the company is planning in the next period to pour some RSD 40 billion and that oil price decreasing trend at gas stations will continue.

He said processors are now making cheaper oil reserves which they will process next year.

As he said, he cannot specify the dynamics of oil derivatives prices decrease but there will definitely be no increase.

-This year we have poured 40 billion, and only a few biggest clients (Srbijagas, Petrohemija and Air Serbia) own us RSD 55 billion – Kravchenko said.

When asked whether they will succeed in collecting debts from Srbijagas, Kravchenko said they are close to the problem solution and that he hopes that soon, due to change in attitude and more flexible policy, they will see results.

He said at the moment, debt of Srbijagas is some 27, of Petrohemija 23 and Air Serbia four billion dinars which is more than planned investments for this year.

Kravchenko said they are planning to connect this problem solution, among other things, with the reprogram of debts and interest rate write-off but this does not mean they will become shareholders at Srbijagas. In this case, as he said, analogously with Petrohemija, we are not experts in the gas industry.

When asked about the fact that the Prime Minister of Serbia, in mid this year, said that the state as the owner of 29% at NIS wants adequate profit, Kravchenko said he understands the attitude of the prime minister, that this was communicated in the period when Serbia was hit by heavy floods and when the budget needed additional funds and repeated the company is near to solve the debt payment collection issue.

When asked whether he is afraid in case the state changes ore rent policy which totals three percent for NIS, Kravchenko said there is a decision that ore rent for NIS will remain the same until 2023.
