Search for investor for Keles landfill in Nis - Public call to be released by mid-2015

Representatives of the Regional developmental agency, Jug, announced that in the next six month, international tender will be released and contract on construction will be signed for the construction pf the Keles regional landfill in Nis.

July should see the start of this important facility.

The head of the Regional developmental agency ,Jug, Bojan Avramovic, says that regional landfill will be built as PPP. Potential investor, according to Avramovic, should pour EUR 50 m in the landfill.

- We have already been communicating with investors and the one who decides to come and build a landfill will have to comply with the highest standards. Technology which investors offer will be of crucial importance – Avramovic said.

Waste from Nis, Doljevac, Gadzin Han, Merosine, Aleksinac, Svrljig, Sokobanja and Razanj will be disposed at the Keles landfill.
