Multinational company, Teknia, takes over Kragujevac-based Promotor Irva

Multinational company for automotive components production, Teknia, headquartered in Madrid, took over Kragujevac-based Promotor Irva, which has been producing components for leading automotive companies for years.

GM at Promotor irva, Slobodan Radovic, confirmed yesterday for Danas that Teknia acquired 70% stake at Kragujevac-based company and that production of components for Bosch plant in Pecinci will start in Kragujevac.

- We will continue cooperation with Fiat automobili Srbija (Fiat cars Serbia), for which we have been producing Allen key, as one of only a few domestic companies which succeeded in establishing direct cooperation with Fiat– Radovic outlines and mentions that, having in mind production program expansion, it is realistic to expect opening of new vacancies in Kraguejvac-based plant.
