Foreign companies are export leaders in Sumadija and Pomoravlje - FAS and Raca-based lead
Plants of foreign companies are the leading exporters in Sumadija and Pomoravlje regions which resulted in export of USD 2,2 billion in ten months this year, Project Manager of European Integration Office and EUI of the Regional Chamber of Commerce Kraguejvac, Ruzica Stancic, said for Tanjug.
The list of ten biggest exporters in these two regions comprises six foreign companies. Fiat automobili Srbija (Fiat cars Serbia) from Kragujevac rank the fisrt, the second-ranked is Yura Corporation from Raca, Svilajnac-based Panasonic Lighting Devices ranks the fourth.
Kronospan Lapovo ranks the sixth, Batocina-based Grah Automotive ranks the eight, and Confezioni Andrea Serbia in Jagodina ranks tenth.
Kronospan recorded export growth of 47%,
and Grah Automotive 21,5%.
Plants with Italian capital, Mobil Turi in Jagodina and Conti 3 in Svilajnac also
generate stabile and continuous export increase and positive results in foreign
trade.
The first ten companies comprise four domestic ones, where Arandjelovac-based Pestan ranks the
third, Kragujevac-based Forma Ideale the
fifth and Kraguejvac-based , Zastava oruzje the seventh , and the ninth-ranked Agromarket,
generated 87,3% of total export of Sumadija and Pomoravlje. Exports mainly went
to Italy, Slovakia, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Romania, the Russian
federation, Poland, Montenegro and Macedonia.
Foreign trade of Sumadija and Pomoravlje in ten months totals USD 3,9 billion. Surplus
of USD 542,4 m was generated, which is twice higher than in the same period
last year.
In total Serbia’s export, which in ten months totaled USD 12,5 billion, regions of Sumadija, Pomoravlje and West Serbia participate
with 31%, immediately after the Vojvodina region which is the first with 33,3%,
RCC calculated.
