Cypriotes are building another cold storage in Indjija - Kostas a Zacharia to pour up to EUR 5 m

President of the Indjija municipality, Petar Filipovic, announced the expansion of the Cyprus company, Kostas a Zacharia" (KAZ) in early 2015, it was published at the official website of the Indjija municipality.

Petar Filipovic outlined that new investment is extremely important for Indjija municipality especially since there have been no many investors in the last two years.

- It is important that the companies already operating in our municipality are expanding capacities and building new facilities. The Cyprus KAZ will produce another cold storage where, according to their announcements, 150 people more should be employed. Apart from that, I expect the construction of the plant of Indonesian Indofood to start. I would say it is a good start of the year and I hope the trend of new investments will continue – president of the Indjija municipality said.

Srpko Medenica, assistant president of municipality for economic development and agriculture outlined that new investment is a result of team work, it was added at the municipal website.

The investor from Cyprus has a cold storage where it hires 250 people and the construction of the new one will start in mid-January 2015. The investment totals between EUR 3-5 m. This was the investment t the Cypriotes presented at the recently held Fair of food industry in Paris, "Sremska televizija" announced.
