German Fresenius Medical Care opens plant in Vrsac- Job for 1.150 people
German company, Fresenius Medical Care, specialized
in consuming materal for chemo dialysis, has opened today a new Vrsac-based
plant where some 1.150 people will work.
The Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, opened the plant and said he
expects the company employees number will be even higher.
The investment of the German company totals more
than EUR 16 m and production from already existing department in Vrsac was
relocated while the project includes 429 new employees and log-term plans
comprise headcount reaching 1.150.
New Vrsac-based plant will be export-oriented and apart from supplying patients
in Serbia with dialysis equipment, it will launch its products to European market
as well.
The new plant opening will double export and introduce new products and when the company starts working with full capacity, it will produce artery-vein systems for more than 150.000 patients.
The group has more than 40 production departments in all continents and Fresenius Medical Care has been present in Serbia since 1982..
