Ex ing acquires wire plant Milan Vidak - February to see 50 vacancies

Belgrade-based Ex ing B&P, operating in production of steel construction in construction and fire protection doors acquired the entire property of former Futog-based plant for wires and wire products, Milan Vidak. The sales contract totaling RSD 170 mi, was signed by the owner of Ex ing B&P, Srdjan Opalic and trustee in bankruptcy at AD Asko–Vidak, Radovan Ivetic.

In his statement for Dnevnik, the new owner of Futog-based plant, Srdjan Opalic, said that production line in Futog might open in late February next year and he is planning to hire 50 people for a start and later when the production starts, to increase the number significantly. It takes, as he says, time to put the production department into operation again.

Trade union workers satisfied

The trade union of metal workers of Novi Sad, headed by Novak Vasic, welcomed the arrival of new owner and said that with the acquisition of Vidak the state showed its responsibility.
