Miodrag Popović, Manager of TOS, became member of European board of managers of European tourist committee

The Manager of the Tourism Organization of Serbia, Miodrag Popović, has been selected for the member of the Board of Managers of European Tourist Committee in Rejkjavik. TOS became a member of the European Tourist Committee in January 2007.

Popović said that that was the good move and the good news for the Serbian tourist industry, which obtained one more significant acknowledgement.

He said that the membership and the vote in the board of managers of European Tourist Committee gave opportunity to TOS to influence the strategy and development of the management of European destinations.

Popović pointed out that it was significant that European Tourist Organization dedicated so much attention to so-called overseas destinations and overseas markets of Latin America, North American continent, China, Russia, India...
