Ansgar Bornemann elected president at the -Serbian chamber of commerce and Marinko Ukropina vice president
Ansgar Bornemann, regional head of Nestlé Adriatic is elected president of the Swiss-Serbian chamber of commerce. Members of the Managing Board at this business association appointed Marinko Ukropina a GM at SGS for the Adriatic region Vice President, the chamber announced.
All seven Managing Board members were initially appointed at the meeting of the Swiss-Serbian chamber of commerce for 2014, held October 30. Apart from Bornemann and Ukropina, Managing Board comprises: Ana Govedarica, GM at Roche doo Srbija, Dragan Maksimovic, GM at Sika doo Srbija, Claudiu Soare, GM at Holcim Srbija", Xavier Davard, GM at Sicpa Albanija and Adrien Alkabes, GM at Monterosa" doo.
These elections are the last step in the Swiss-Serbian chamber of commerce setup, officially set up in March this year. According to Bornemann, the association "is trying to set up sustainable and long-standing Swiss-Serbian business relations, in two directions: creating favorable business environment for the Swiss companies in Serbia and at the same time, enabling and supporting local companies to operate in a more successful manner and develop their activities at the Swiss market".
In order to provide added value for its members, the Swiss- Serbian chamber of commerce which has more than 30 members, invites potential new members to apply and join the association’s work.
According to Ukropina, "in order to reach defined objectives, we should promote the basic Swiss values: compliance with laws, regulations and world standards, transparency and quality and integrity and ethical behavior".
