Serbian-American friendship Club set up in Nis

The General assembly of the new Nis-based Serbian-American friendship Club whose objective is to develop and strengthen cooperation between Serbia and USA was held in Nis yesterday.

The American ambassador, Michael Kirby, and many other successful citizens of Nis and the Americans attended the meeting at the National Theater.

A founder and the first president of the Serbian-American friendship Club is Dragan Milic, the head of Vascular Clinic at the Clinical Center Nis.

- Many students, doctors, economists, lawyers attends studies in USA. We want to deepen the cooperation and expand it to other areas and to have America as a key partner of Serbia in the future – Milic said.
