Technologies controlled by remote computers – “Intel’s” “vPro” represented in "E-gallery"

In "E-gallery", the promotional-retailing space of "Informatika", "Intel" held its presentation "vPro and other news". The event was going live on the web site.

The presentation and demonstration of capabilities of "vPro" technology was held by Uroš Huzjak, the authorized representative of company "Intel" for Slovenia.

Hardware technology Intel® vPro™, combined with processor Intel® Core™2 Duo, is one of the latest Intel’s technologies, developed as a respond to the demands of business users who needed to improve the security of their computer systems, as well as to get easier and better administration.

"vPro" is intended for mid-sized and large enterprises, because it simplifies computer management to the managers of IT departments by means of the functions at professional level.

For example, it is not required that the expert from the technical support service comes to the working place of the user who experienced the problems with the computer, because the technology enables quick remote control of the company computers, even when they are turned off or broke, which is an innovation.

Installed on every computer that should be supervised, "vPro" provides constant control of every computer, protection from viruses, unwanted programs, installation or replacement of program components.
