Hipol starts TNG production soon

The biggest Serbian producer of polypropylene granulate, AD Hipol from Odzaci, will soon redirect a part of their capacities to liquid oil gas production. It is about 6.000 tons monthly. Thus, along with Standard gas which has already been using Hipol’s capacities and produces.000 tons per month, these two companies will satisfy 60% of Serbian market with TNG.

For Hipol, this means a way out of restructuring through an investment, good privatization, i.e. strategic partnership.

- This is an extremely important investment for Hipol since we show we are profitable company which can invest in production expansion, to significantly contribute to growth of gross domestic product within petrochemical industry. Apart from that, it is also a chance for new vacancies for young experts– Snezana Sedlar, president of the Supervisory Board says.

It is a question if Zeleznice Srbije will have enough locomotive to deliver raw materials in the spring when Standard gas expands capacities, they deliver from Odzaci 20.000 tons per month.

- We have communication on daily basis – Zeljko Sormaz says for RTV, Goods Transport Department Manager at ZTP Novi Sad, there has never been any problems, neither it will be the case in the future since we have two locomotive which can satisfy all requests on this route”.

The thing which would emerge as a trouble spot in the spring is the condition of the gauge at the railway station in Odzaci where the speed due to age of sleepers limited to only 10 km/h.
