November 18 to see Delhaize opening distribution center in Stara Pazova

Delhaize announced that the distribution center in Stara Pazova will open November 18. As it was previously announced, a total of EUR 50 m will be invested in the facility and 750 people more will be hired.

The center occupies 70.000 m2, with an option of capacity expansion to 125.000 m2 in the upcoming years.

It is connected with three key road directions and will have 100 loading and unloading places where daily 250 trucks will be able to cross. Distribution center will every day be able to deliver 6.500 pallets which is goods quantity for supplying of 450 shops and will be able to support the growing company retail network in the region.

Usage of modern materials in construction will enable higher energy efficiency of the building with up to 15% lower carbon print.
