Austrian company wants coopeartion in fruit growing - Darbo to visit Krusevac in early 2015

Early next year, representatives of Darbo will visit Krusevac and then meet production development options, it was announced yesterday during the first visit of a two-day visit in Tirol, Austria, of the mayor Dragan Nestorovic and the member of the city council, Zoran Veljkovic, the official city website announced.

During the visit, the city heads talked with the management of the Austrian company, Darbo, in order to agree on cooperation and guidelines for development and planning of fruit production in Krusevac and neighborhood.

One of the company owners, Adolf Darbo and Technical Manager Christian Huber met the guests from Krusevac with the company history and production program. This is one of the leading firms for production of jams and fruit juices.

- We will take into an account all the aspects and try to help you in the upcoming period to develop fruit production in line with regulations required by EU. Even now we have cooperation with a larger number of companies from Serbia and we have positive experience – Huber outlined.

The mayor Nestorovic thanked for the reception with a wish that this company comes to Krusevac as soon as possible and meet the potential of Krusevac.

At the end of the talks, hosts met guests from Krusevac with the production process and showed their product portfolio.

Darbo was set up in 1879 as a family company and the expansion started in 1975 so that today it launches its products to over 60% of Austrian markets and they export big part of it.
